Cost

Tax Ninja charges $350 per hour (billed in quarter hour increments) to prepare tax returns. There is a one hour minimum charge. We are happy to offer discounts for simple returns. Form 1040EZ with one state is only $75. Form $1040A is $140. The vast majority of returns take one hour or less to prepare, review, and perform tax planning for the following year. Free cost estimates prior to beginning work are of course available, however to give you an accurate estimate we need to look at your records to do so. The organization, complexity, and volume of data is the determining factor in how long a return takes.
